§ 7213 Committee Member Removal Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •If you're on a committee and miss more than 3 meetings in a row, you can be kicked off.
  • •You won't get kicked off if you were sick or out of town for those meetings.
  • •The committee votes to decide if you get removed.

Example

A person on the school lunch committee misses 4 meetings because they were busy with work.

The committee can vote to remove them because they missed too many meetings without a good reason like being sick or out of town.
