§ 7215 Corporate Records Certification Evidence

Key Takeaways

  • •If a company writes down its rules or meeting notes, and the secretary signs it as a true copy, it’s accepted as real proof.
  • •This applies to any important papers like rules, meeting notes, or decisions made by the company.
  • •The copy can be on paper or in another form, as long as it can be read clearly.

Example

A company has a meeting and writes down the decisions made. The secretary signs a copy of these notes.

If someone later questions whether the meeting happened or what was decided, this signed copy is enough to prove it really happened.
