§ 28710 License Suspension Or Revocation

Key Takeaways

  • •The boss can take away a company's license if they break the rules or do something unsafe.
  • •If a company stops doing business, goes broke, or can't pay its bills, its license can be taken away.
  • •If a company lies or hides important info when getting its license, it can lose the license later.

Example

A small loan company keeps giving money to people who can't pay it back, even though the rules say they shouldn't.

The company is breaking the rules and acting unsafe, so the boss can take away their license to stop them from doing more harm.
