§ 2601 Buyer Remedies For Nonconforming Goods

Key Takeaways

  • •If you buy something and it's not what you ordered, you can say no to all of it.
  • •You can also say yes to all of it, even if it's not perfect.
  • •Or you can say yes to some parts and no to the rest.

Example

You order a new bike online, but when it arrives, the color is wrong and one wheel is bent.

You can send the whole bike back, keep the whole bike anyway, or maybe keep the frame but send back the bent wheel.
