§ 4010 Pre-2014 Document Validity

Key Takeaways

  • •Old rules still apply to things done before January 1, 2014.
  • •If something was okay under the old rules, it stays okay.
  • •This doesn’t cover the main rules (governing documents) of a neighborhood or building.

Example

In 2013, your neighborhood association made a rule about parking.

Even if the law changed in 2014, the old parking rule is still valid because it was made when the old law was in place.
