§ 2920 Psychology Board Composition

Key Takeaways

  • •A group called the Board of Psychology is in charge of making sure psychologists follow the rules.
  • •This group has 9 people, and 4 of them are regular people, not psychologists.
  • •These rules will stop working on January 1, 2026.
  • •After 2026, the group will be checked by other important people to see if they are still needed.

Example

Imagine a group at school that makes sure teachers follow the rules.

This law is like that group but for psychologists. They make sure psychologists do their jobs right. The group has some regular people in it too, not just psychologists. But this group will stop doing this job in 2026, and then other people will decide if the group is still needed.
