§ 2460 Podiatric Medical Board Creation

Key Takeaways

  • •There is a special group called the Podiatric Medical Board of California that looks after foot doctors (podiatrists).
  • •This group will only exist until January 1, 2026, unless the law changes.
  • •Any old laws that mention the 'California Board of Podiatric Medicine' now mean this group instead.
  • •Changes made in 2017 about foot doctors do not take away any rights they had before.

Example

A foot doctor wants to know which group is in charge of their rules.

The Podiatric Medical Board of California is the group they should look to until 2026. After that, the rules might change unless the law is updated.
