§ 10508 Mineral Broker Licensing Requirement

• •If you work as a mineral, oil, or gas broker in this state, you must have a license.
• •If you don't have a license, you can't sue anyone to get paid for your work.
• •You have to show proof of your license in court if you want to get paid.

A person helps a company buy and sell oil land but doesn't have a broker license.

If the company doesn't pay them, they can't take the company to court to get their money because they didn't have a license when they did the work.
