§ 5883 State Agency Data Sharing

Key Takeaways

  • •The state will make it easier to share important information between different departments, like schools, hospitals, and social services.
  • •The mental health department will get more money to check how well new programs are working.
  • •If there's enough money, the state will create the same way for all counties to collect and share data.
  • •The state will help counties understand and use the data they collect.

Example

A school wants to know how many kids in their county are getting help for mental health problems.

The state will make sure the school can get this information easily from the mental health department. They will also help the school understand the data and compare it to other counties.
