§ 4109 State Hospital Oversight Duties

• •The State Department of State Hospitals is in charge of all state hospitals listed in Section 4100.
• •They make sure the hospitals follow their own rules and do what they're supposed to do.
• •They can create new rules for how the hospital staff should work and how the hospital should be run.
• •They must regularly check the hospitals to make sure everything is working well.

A state hospital has a rule that all patients must have a check-up every morning.

The State Department of State Hospitals makes sure this rule is followed by all the doctors and nurses. If they find out that some patients are not getting their check-ups, they can make new rules or punish the staff who are not doing their jobs.
