§ 15802 Health Care Services Regulations

Key Takeaways

  • •The health department can make rules to help run health care programs.
  • •They can send out letters or bulletins to explain or change rules quickly without waiting for long processes.
  • •After the quick changes, they can make these rules official right away if it's urgent for people's health or safety.

Example

If the health department needs to tell all doctors in the state to start using a new form for patient care right away because the old one is causing mistakes.

The department can send out a letter to all doctors explaining the new form and how to use it, without waiting for a long rule-making process. This helps fix the problem fast so patients get the right care.
