§ 10204 Department Name Change

(a) For purposes of this part, “department” means the State Department of Social Services. (b) Commencing July 1, 2021, whenever the laws governing the programs, responsibilities, services, or systems listed in subdivision (b) of Section 10203 refer to the “State Department of Education,” “department,” “Superintendent of Public Instruction,” or “Superintendent,” the reference shall be construed to be to the State Department of Social Services.
