§ 10068 Health And Welfare Data Committee

This law creates a special group to help set up a system for giving out benefits (like food or money help) using cards instead of paper checks. It says who is in the group and who can give advice.

Key Takeaways

  • •A special group is created to help make a card system for benefits.
  • •The group includes people from health, social services, tech, and money departments.
  • •They also listen to advice from stores, banks, and people who will use the cards.
  • •If a company helps make the rules for the card system, they can’t try to sell the system later.

Example

Imagine the government wants to give food help to families using a card, like a debit card, instead of paper coupons.

This law says a group of people, like health and tech experts, will work together to make sure the card system works well. They also listen to advice from stores, banks, and people who will use the cards.
