§ 8125 Non-Commercial Stream Definition

Key Takeaways

  • •This law talks about small rivers or streams that are not big enough for boats to use for business.
  • •If a river or stream is not officially called 'navigable' by the law, it falls under this rule.
  • •These small streams are usually in counties and are not used for moving goods or trading.

Example

A small creek in the middle of a farm that is only used by the farmer to water crops.

This creek is not big enough for boats to travel on, and it's not used for business, so it is considered a 'non-navigable stream' under this law.
