§ 75622 Groundwater Charge Protest Hearing

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone complains about their water bill, the board must listen to them in a meeting.
  • •The board will decide how much water was used and if the charge is fair.
  • •The board's decision is final if they have good reasons for it.

Example

Your water bill seems way too high, so you tell the water board you think it's wrong.

The board will have a meeting to check your water use and decide if the bill is correct. If they have good proof, their decision sticks, and you have to pay what they say.
