§ 2859 Court Determination Of Expenses

Key Takeaways

  • •If people argue about who should pay for something, a judge will decide what's fair.
  • •The judge will make a final decision on how much each person has to pay.
  • •The people who have to pay will get a official paper saying how much they owe.

Example

Imagine you and your neighbors share a fence. The fence breaks, and you all argue about who should pay to fix it.

A judge will listen to everyone and decide how much each neighbor should pay. Then, the judge will write it down officially, and each neighbor will have to pay their share.
