§ 225 Water Resource Surveys

Key Takeaways

  • •The state can study water resources, like rivers and how water is used for farming.
  • •They can work with the federal government on these studies if it helps the state.
  • •The Governor must agree if the state wants to keep doing these studies without federal help.

Example

The state wants to study how water flows in a river to help farmers.

The state can do this study and team up with the federal government if it’s a good idea. If they want to keep studying without federal help, the Governor has to say it’s okay.
