§ 1341 Protested Application Hearing Notice

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone disagrees with an application, there will be a meeting to talk about it.
  • •The meeting notice must include the names of the person who applied and the person who disagreed.
  • •The notice must also say when and where the meeting will happen.
  • •The board can add other useful info to the notice if they want.

Example

Your neighbor wants to build a big fence, but you think it’s too tall and will block your view. You complain to the city.

The city will send a notice to both you and your neighbor. It will say your names, when and where the meeting is, and maybe other details like what the fence looks like.
