§ 13100 Water Board Organization

• •This group has smaller teams called regional water quality control boards.

Imagine you live near a river, and a factory starts dumping dirty water into it.

The State Water Resources Control Board and its smaller teams are like the referees who make sure the factory follows the rules to keep the river clean. They check who is on their team and what jobs they need to do to stop the factory from polluting the river.
