§ 4158 Vehicle Ownership Bond Return

In the event the vehicle is no longer registered in this state and the currently valid certificate of ownership is surrendered to the department, the bond or undertaking shall be returned and surrendered at the end of three years or prior thereto. (Amended by Stats. 1982, Ch. 517, Sec. 387.)
