§ 7805 Street Railroad Construction Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •Street railroads must be built so they don’t block the street too much.
  • •The tracks can’t be wider than 5 feet between the rails.
  • •There must be enough space between tracks for cars to pass each other.

Example

A company wants to build a street railroad in the middle of a busy road.

The city will make sure the tracks don’t take up too much space, so cars and people can still use the road easily. The tracks also can’t be too wide, and there must be room for trains to pass each other.
