§ 60050 District Transportation Advocacy Authority

• •The district can speak and act for all its member areas in Yolo County.
• •They can do this only if all the member areas agree.
• •The goal is to improve transportation things like roads, money for projects, and what gets built first.

If the cities of Davis and Woodland both want a new bike lane connecting them, but they can't decide who pays for it.

The district can step in, talk to both cities, and help them agree on how to get the bike lane built if both cities say it's okay.
