§ 3310 Power Supply Authority Projects

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can build or help pay for power plants and other energy projects to make sure California has enough electricity.
  • •They can also help pay for projects that make energy use better, like fixing old power plants or helping people buy energy-saving appliances.
  • •The goal is to have enough energy for everyone in California at fair prices.
  • •They have to do this by working with other companies or groups, not just by themselves.

Example

If a company wants to build a new solar farm to make electricity, but doesn't have enough money, the government can help pay for it.

This way, more clean energy is made, and people in California have enough power for their homes.
