§ 30965 District Improvement Hearing Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •Anyone who cares about the changes can go to the meeting and talk.
  • •You can speak up if you own property in the area that might be affected.
  • •The meeting can be moved to a different time or place, but they have to tell you.

Example

Your neighborhood is planning to build a new park, and they send out a notice about a meeting to talk about it.

You own a house nearby and don’t like where they want to put the park. You can go to the meeting and tell them why you think it’s a bad idea.
