§ 29671 Hearing Notice Publication Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •The government must announce a hearing in a local newspaper.
  • •They can choose to share the news in more ways if they want.
  • •This is to make sure people know about the hearing.

Example

The city wants to change a rule about where you can park your car.

They have to put an ad in the local newspaper to tell everyone about the meeting where they’ll talk about the new rule. They might also post it online or send letters if they think more people should know.
