§ 29102 District Investment Reinvestment Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The district can buy and sell special money papers (like bonds) to make more money.
  • •They can use the money from selling these papers to buy new ones.
  • •This is just about how they handle their money investments.

Example

Imagine the district buys a savings bond, like the ones you might get as a gift.

Later, they can sell that bond and use the money to buy a new one, just like trading in an old toy for a new one.
