§ 22439 District Manager Powers

The general manager has the following powers and functions: (a) Full charge and control of the construction, maintenance, and operation of the physical properties of the district. (b) Except as otherwise provided in this article, full power to employ and discharge all employees and assistants at pleasure, prescribe their duties, and, subject to the approval of the board, to fix their compensation. (c) Such other duties as may be imposed by the board. (Added by Stats. 1953, Ch. 151.)
