§ 1703 Complaint Joinder Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •You can put all your problems in one complaint, even if they seem different.
  • •The court won’t throw out your complaint just because you missed someone or added something extra.
  • •You don’t have to prove you were directly hurt to file a complaint.

Example

If your neighbor’s loud music and their dog barking both bother you, you can complain about both at once.

The law lets you combine problems in one complaint, and the court won’t dismiss it just because you included both issues.
