§ 16033 President'S Contract Authority

• •The president signs all contracts for the district.
• •The president does other jobs the board tells them to do.
• •This rule was added in 1953.

The school district needs to buy new computers for the classrooms.

The president of the district is the one who signs the contract to buy the computers. If the board says the president has to check the computers first, they have to do that too.
