§ 13562 Sewer Construction Limitations

Key Takeaways

  • •The law does not force the district to build all types of sewers, only big main ones that collect and carry waste away.
  • •The district decides which sewers are the main ones, and their decision is final.

Example

A neighborhood wants the district to build small sewers under their streets to connect their homes to the big sewer lines.

The district can say no because the law only makes them build the big main sewers, not the small ones. If they say the small sewers aren't the main ones, that's the end of it.
