The VTA is building a new train platform and installs safety signs and emergency brakes.

The Public Utilities Commission can come to look at the platform, see if the safety signs and brakes meet the rules, and tell the VTA to add more signs or fix anything that isn’t safe. If the VTA doesn’t follow the advice, the commission can make them do it.
