§ 1469 Cross-Reference For Representatives

This law says that when rules for personal representatives (like estate executors) point to Section 1220, they should actually be pointing to this chapter (Section 1469).

Key Takeaways

  • •It changes where you look for the rules, not the rules themselves.
  • •Only matters for personal representatives dealing with this division.
  • •Any mention of Section 1220 in those rules means Section 1469.

Example

An executor is filing paperwork and the instructions say to follow the rules in Section 1220.

Because of this law, the executor must follow the rules in Section 1469 instead of looking up Section 1220.
