This law creates a special group called the Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board. They handle appeals when people disagree with safety rules at work.

Key Takeaways

  • •The board has three people: one from management, one from labor, and one regular person.
  • •They work full-time to review appeals about work safety rules.
  • •The governor picks who leads the board.

Example

A worker gets fined because their boss says they didn't follow safety rules at a construction site.

If the worker thinks the fine is unfair, they can ask this board to look at their case and decide if the fine should stay or go away.
