§ 41807 Public Utility Burning Exemptions

Nothing in this article shall be construed to prohibit burning for right-of-way clearing by a public entity or utility or for levee, reservoir, and ditch maintenance. No such material may be burned pursuant to this section unless (a) agricultural burning is not prohibited on the day pursuant to Section 41855, and (b) the material has been prepared by stacking, drying, or other methods to promote combustion as specified by the air pollution control officer having jurisdiction. (Added by Stats. 1975, Ch. 957.)
