§ 40442 District Board Air Control

• •The south coast district board must follow a schedule to approve air quality plans.
• •If they miss the deadline, they still have to do their job to control air pollution.
• •Missing the deadline doesn’t take away their power or duties.

Imagine the board is supposed to approve a new plan to reduce smog by a certain date.

If they don’t approve the plan on time, they still have to keep working on air quality control. They can’t just stop or say they don’t have to do their job anymore.
