§ 1354 Licensure Denial Hearing Rights

Upon denial of application for licensure, or the issuance of an order pursuant to Section 1352 disapproving, suspending, or postponing a material modification, the director shall notify the applicant in writing, stating the reason for the denial and that the applicant has the right to a hearing if the applicant makes written request within 30 days after the date of mailing of the notice of denial. Service of the notice required by this subdivision may be made by certified mail addressed to the applicant at the latest address filed by the applicant in writing with the department. (Amended by Stats. 1999, Ch. 525, Sec. 57. Effective January 1, 2000. Operative July 1, 2000, or sooner, by Sec. 214 of Ch. 525.)
