§ 1321 Occupational Therapy Advertising Rules

• •Hospitals or clinics can't say they offer occupational therapy unless they really do.
• •If they offer it, a trained occupational therapist or assistant must be in charge.
• •They can't lie or trick people in ads about having this service.

A small clinic puts up a sign saying they offer occupational therapy for kids with disabilities.

If the clinic doesn’t actually have a trained occupational therapist working there, they’re breaking the law. They can’t say they offer it if they don’t.
