§ 12554 Fireworks Safety Regulations

Key Takeaways

  • •The fireworks rules from 1974 are still the rules today.
  • •The State Fire Marshal can change or cancel these rules later.
  • •Until then, everyone must follow the old rules.

Example

You want to set off fireworks in your backyard for a party.

You have to follow the same fireworks rules that were made in 1974. If those rules say you can't use big fireworks without a permit, you can't use them even today.
