§ 12108 Permit Form And Explosives Disposal

Key Takeaways

  • •You need a special paper (permit) to use explosives, and it must show when it stops working.
  • •If you don’t use all the explosives, you must give them back, destroy them, or get a new permit.
  • •The permit must have a number and be made in a way the State Fire Marshal says is okay.

Example

A construction company gets explosives to blow up rocks for a new road but doesn’t use all of them.

They can’t just keep the leftover explosives. They have to return them, destroy them safely, or get a new permit to keep them. If they don’t, they’re breaking the law.
