§ 110010 Prescription Order Requirements

“Prescription” means an oral order given individually for the patient for whom prescribed directly from the prescriber to the furnisher or indirectly by means of a written order signed by the prescriber that bears the name and address of the prescriber, the license classification of the prescriber, the name and address of the patient, the name and quantity of drug or device prescribed, the directions for use, and the date of issue. (Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 1996.)
