§ 100165 Department Property Control

• •The department must have possession and control of all property used by agencies it runs.
• •This includes records, equipment, money, land, and any other real or personal property.
• •It applies to any state agency whose functions are assigned to the department by Section 100150.

The state wildlife agency's office is run by the department. All the wildlife agency's files, computers, vehicles, and the land it uses are now under the department's control.

Because the wildlife agency's duties are given to the department, the department must hold and manage everything the agency uses, like its papers, gear, cash, and property.
