§ 72713 Reporters' Salary Fund Deficiency

Key Takeaways

  • •If the money for court reporters' pay runs out, the court can take extra money from another fund to cover it.
  • •The county treasurer holds the money for court reporters' pay.
  • •The county auditor is the one who gives out the money to pay the court reporters.

Example

Imagine the school's lunch money jar is empty, but kids still need lunch.

The principal can take money from the school's savings to pay for the lunches. Here, the court does the same thing if there's not enough money to pay the court reporters.
