§ 68614 Judicial Delay Reduction Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •Judges can tell other judges to use ways to make court cases faster, even if they're not in a special program for that.
  • •This rule was only around until July 1, 1992.
  • •It doesn't stop judges from helping speed up cases.

Example

Imagine a big line of people waiting to talk to the teacher. The principal tells all teachers to use a faster way to help kids, even if they're not in the 'fast line' club.

This law is like the principal's rule. It lets the main judge tell other judges to use faster ways to handle cases, even if they're not in a special program. But this rule ended a long time ago, in 1992.
