§ 67640 Regional Transit Terminal Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The transit authority can do what's needed to build, fix, and run the transit terminal.
  • •They can make deals or agreements to keep the terminal safe and working.
  • •They can lease out parts of the terminal if they want.
  • •They must follow the law while doing all this.

Example

The transit authority wants to rent out space in the terminal to a coffee shop.

The law lets them do this because leasing part of the terminal helps with their job of running it.
