§ 59128 Property Owner Notice Affidavit

• •If the law says you must mail a notice to property owners, you have to do it.
• •After mailing the notices, the clerk must write and sign a paper (affidavit) saying when and how they sent the notices.
• •This paper must be given to the group that makes the laws (legislative body).

The city wants to build a new park and must tell all nearby homeowners about the plan.

After mailing letters to all the homeowners, the city clerk must write a note saying, 'I mailed the letters on this date, and here’s how I did it.' Then, they give this note to the city council.
