§ 59107 Lot Definition

Key Takeaways

  • •A 'lot' is any piece of land, no matter how big or small.
  • •It can be land you own or control, like a backyard or a street.
  • •Even railroad tracks or roads count as a 'lot'.

Example

You own a small piece of land behind your house where you grow vegetables.

That piece of land is called a 'lot' under this law. It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small, or even if it’s a street or railroad tracks—it’s still a lot.
