§ 55307 Sewer Connection Permissions

• •Cities or sanitary districts can allow new sewers to be built.
• •They can connect their own sewers and the sewers of people living there to the new ones.
• •They can use these new sewers following the rules in Article 2, Chapter 1.

A small town needs better sewers because the old ones keep backing up.

The town can give permission for new sewers to be built. Then, they can hook up the town’s sewers and the sewers from people’s homes to these new ones. They have to follow the rules in Article 2, Chapter 1 while doing this.
