§ 50962 Award Application Approval

Key Takeaways

  • •If you apply for an award, the board will decide if you get it based on their rules.
  • •The award starts when the board says it does, not right away.
  • •The board makes the rules for who can get the award and how.

Example

You apply for a school award for good grades.

The school board checks if you meet their rules (like good grades and behavior). If you do, they give you the award, but it starts when they say, like at the end of the school year.
