§ 25638 County Forestry Board Repeal

• •The county leaders can cancel old rules about forestry with a big vote (four-fifths of them must agree).
• •If they cancel the rules, the old forestry group is done, and the county leaders take over their stuff and money.
• •The county leaders then do the jobs the forestry group used to do.

Imagine your town has a group that takes care of the trees and parks. The town leaders decide they don’t want this group anymore.

If most of the town leaders (four out of five) vote to get rid of the tree group, the group is gone. The town leaders take all the group’s tools and money and start doing the tree work themselves.
