§ 25504 County Property Disposal Rules

• •The county can sell or get rid of stuff it owns but doesn’t need anymore.
• •The money from selling the stuff goes into the county’s bank account.
• •If the county trades the stuff for something else, it must make sure the trade is fair and worth it.

The county has old office chairs it doesn’t use anymore.

The county can sell these chairs and put the money into its treasury. If it trades the chairs for new ones, it must make sure the new chairs are worth at least as much as the old ones.
